In the BIOMGT project funded by the Wallonia Region and the European Union structural funds, Anatis and its partners Mitis and Biogaz du Haut-Geer are developing a pilot unit plant. This pilot is a biomethanisation system installed in a farm located in Durbuy (Belgium) integrating ANATIS technologies and coupled to a co-genereration microturbine developed by MITIS. The control unit of the microturbine monitors and operates the whole ANATIS systems including pumps, sensors, et cetera. The heat which is produced by the cogeneration is directly used to heat the Anyole anaerodigesters (ensuring the bacterial action) and the farm’s building while the electricity is used by the farm or fed to the grid.
