The ‘E’ in ESG
We find it logical to approach sustainability through the prism of ESG, which is becoming the norm in this field. Our Fluid-Anyole® process primarily meets the environmental (E) criteria of ESG standards. Here's how :
- Natural resource management : Fluid-Anyole® degrades organic matter in wastewater, producing biogas that is used as an energy source, thereby helping reduce the industry's dependence on fossil fuels.
- Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions : Industries using the Fluid-Anyole® process reduce their CO2 emissions by replacing fossil fuels with a renewable energy source. Additionally, methane, which would otherwise be released into the atmosphere from untreated organic waste, is captured and used as an energy source, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
- Waste management : Fluid-Anyole® converts the organic load in wastewater into biogas while producing a cleaner treated effluent. This helps reduce water pollution and prevent soil contamination, benefiting the environment.
The environmental impact is even more positive as Fluid-Anyole® manages to treat complex, high-COD loads. This impact will depend on factors such as the system's operational performance, prevailing standards, and other environmental considerations specific to the company.
When studying a project, we can simulate the reduction in COD, the amount of biogas produced, and the amount of energy provided during methane cogeneration. This preliminary study allows the industry to estimate its impact on the company's sustainability.
